Baltimore lawyer Stanley Needleman has been in the news twice in the last two months, and neither report casts him in a positive light.

In April, federal agents raided Needleman’s home and law office, the Baltimore Sun reports. Anonymous sources told the Baltimore City Paper that agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and the Internal Revenue Service seized $600,000 in cash. No charges have been filed as a result of the raids.

Now Needleman has been charged with stealing a crime textbook from a Baltimore County courtroom, according to the Baltimore Sun. Police say court surveillance cameras caught Needleman walking away with the book, Understanding White Collar Crime. Needleman allegedly told police he took the book because it “had to do with my situation” and his failure to return it was done “without any intent at all.”

Needleman, 68, is charged with theft under $100.
