An assistant city attorney for Beaumont, Texas, was charged with driving while intoxicated twice in two days.

Darrell Craig Vogel, 50, is free on bond, according to KFDM.com and KYTX. KFDM says bond was $750 and KYTX says it was $500.

Vogel was first arrested on a charge of DWI early Friday morning, according to the Beaumont Enterprise. He was released from jail after posting a $500 bond.

On Saturday he was arrested shortly before 9:30 a.m. as he was driving out of a Walgreens parking lot. According to KYTX, customers at the drug store had called police and alleged Vogel was “noticeably drunk causing a ruckus.”

Vogel failed a field sobriety test and was charged with the second DWI, police told KFDM.com.
