One of the two managing directors of the plaintiffs securities law firm Grant & Eisenhofer is now a plaintiff in his own lawsuit with a different target: three teens he accuses of crashing his daughter’s party last July.

The October suit by Stuart Grant claims the teens left the “entertainment area” of his Greenville, Del., home and went upstairs without permission, the American Lawyer reports. According to the suit, the teens stole prescription drugs, electronics, household items and a jug containing about $500 in coins from the home’s “residential area.”

Rather than going to the police, the suit says, Grant hired a private investigator to find out who had taken the items.

An answer to interrogatories filed by one of the defendants says the teens were invited into the home, offered beer and allowed access to the entire house. One of the teens has since returned the jug and the money it held, while another returned household items he claimed he found in the bushes near a school.
