Updated: The late husband of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is being remembered in a new cookbook full of his recipes.

The Supreme Court Historical Society is selling the cookbook for $24.95. Recipes by Martin Ginsburg, who died in June 2010, include vitello tonnato, osso buco and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, according to The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times.

Martha-Ann Alito, the wife of Justice Samuel Alito Jr., oversaw the effort to get the cookbook published on behalf of all the Supreme Court spouses. Along with the recipes are photos and tributes written by Supreme Court spouses and Martin Ginsburg’s friends and relatives.

“One of my first conversations with Marty, in the fall of 2006 was about food and nourishment and how satisfying an expression of love that it was for him,” Alito told NPR. “And that, in part, led to the idea that we should put the cookbook together.”

NPR’s piece includes recipes from the book.

The book is Chef Supreme: Martin Ginsburg.
