Cooley recruits co-chair of Sheppard Mullin corporate group for growing LA office
A mergers and acquisitions specialist who co-chairs the corporate practice group of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton is joining Cooley’s growing Los Angeles area office, along with another corporate partner from the firm.
Established less than a year ago, the office now has nearly 20 lawyers, including new hires Thomas Hopkins and Ian Smith, according to Reuters.
Known as a Silicon Valley tech powerhouse, Cooley now has 700 attorneys in 11 offices in the U.S. and China.
