To prevent distractions, the judge overseeing the Chicago trial of a man accused of murdering three family members of singer and actress Jennifer Hudson has banned reporters from posting on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter while they are in court.

And Judge Charles Burns isn’t taking any chances about enforcing the ban—a spokesman for the judge says officials will monitor the social media accounts of courtroom reporters to make sure they’re in compliance, reports the Associated Press.

Testimony in the first-degree murder case against defendant William Balfour is expected to begin on April 23. He is also charged with home invasion, WGN News reports.
