Cravath, Swaine & Moore will pay associates special bonuses that range from $10,000 to $50,000, depending on their years with the law firm.
On top of that, associates will get the usual year-end bonuses that range from $35,000 to $60,000, the New York Law Journal reports. The special bonuses will be paid Nov. 9, and the year-end bonuses will go out in December, Above the Law reports.
Starting pay for associates at the law firm is $160,000.
Cravath is not the only firm to pay special bonuses. Law month, Sullivan & Cromwell also announced supplemental bonuses for senior associates that will be tied to the firm’s financial performance.
