Critics are calling on Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. to provide more updates on his health after his seizure this summer.

Roberts has not disclosed the medications he is taking or his diagnosis, Legal Times reports. Health experts say he likely has epilepsy, since he also suffered a seizure in 1993.

Professor David Garrow of the University of Cambridge told the legal newspaper that Roberts appears to be following the lead of the late Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist, who disclosed little about his health even as he fought thyroid cancer.

“He is behaving in completely Rehnquistian fashion, saying absolutely nothing and presuming that ‘the public be damned’—that justices’ medical conditions do not involve the public interest and are entirely private,” Garrow said.
