Crowe & Dunlevy, one of Oklahoma’s largest law firms, is merging with Day, Edwards, Propester & Christensen.
Crowe & Dunlevy president Roger Stong told NewsOK.com that the merger will boost his firm’s practices in securities arbitration, banking and employment matters.
Stong says the merger is a good cultural fit; there are lawyers from the two law firms with friendships that “go back a long way, in some cases back to law school.” One example: Name partner Bruce Day of Day Edwards, who is 65, goes on ice climbing trips with a Crowe & Dunlevy lawyer who is 70.
Clay Christensen of Day Edwards won’t be joining the merged firm, the story says.
