Lawyers used to performing high-wire acts could get some real life lessons in the art at a Washington, D.C., trapeze school.
The Trapeze School of New York is moving operations to Washington, D.C., and promoting itself with an outdoor display at H and Ninth streets, the Washington Post reports. “The school is for fitness freaks, thrill-seekers and people harboring secret circus fantasies, among others,” the story says.
Caryn "CJ" Jaffe, an office manager for the school, told the Post that several white-shoe D.C. law firms have expressed an interest in enrolling their lawyers for some lessons in circus performances outside the office.

If they’re not getting enough attrition with weeks of all-nighters, layoffs, pay cuts, deferred “associates,” salary freezes and shrinking summer programs, trapeze school could be just the thing. Swing away, BigLaw!

We have 11 B McLeods in the membership database, six of whom are members. I hope you’re one of the members, because I’d feel a lot better about the membership as a whole if this were so.
