Security is requested for Dallas County judge after his family photos are stolen
Security concerns remain elevated as authorities search for those responsible for the slayings of Kaufman County’s District Attorney, his wife and another prosecutor in the office located outside of Dallas.
In a new incident, security has been requested for a criminal court judge in Dallas County after his family photos were stolen from his bench, the Dallas Morning News Crime Blog reports. A lawyer with knowledge of the situation told the blog the photos may have been taken over the weekend from an apparently secure area. The person who took the photos left the frames, which are now being dusted for prints.
A spokesperson for the Dallas County Sheriff’s office told the blog Thursday evening that the request is under consideration.
