An Oklahoma judge facing fraudulent claims charges concerning the twins she and her husband adopted last year has lost her bid to have the district attorney removed as the prosecutor in the case.

A judge from outside the county ruled today that DA David Prater would continue on the case against Oklahoma County District Judge Tammy Bass-LeSure and her husband, Karlos Antonio LeSure Sr., reports KOCO.

The government contends that the judge and her husband gave the twins to a sister of a bailiff in her courtroom but continued to accept payments on their behalf and lied on adoption papers. The couple denies any wrongdoing.
