Dickstein practice leader takes 13-member team to Greenberg Traurig
The chair of Dickstein Shapiro’s public policy and law practice group has led a 13-member team of lawyers and lobbyists to the Washington, D.C., office of Greenberg Traurig.
All bring a book of business to their new firm, reports Politico, and are likely to add millions to Greenberg’s bottom line.
Andrew Zausner will now serve as chief of his new firm’s government law and policy group, reports Bloomberg. Three former U.S. lawmakers and a former chief of staff to another U.S. lawmaker are among those making the move with him.
The Dickstein firm says former House speaker Dennis Hastert and former Federal Election Commission chair Scott Thomas will now lead its practice group and wished his former colleagues the best in an email.
A Greenberg Traurig press release provides further details and notes that 40 attorneys and lobbyists have joined its office in the nation’s capital within the past 12 months.
