A defamation suit filed by a fired Philadelphia news anchor against her former network and co-anchor is focusing on whether the two had a steamy relationship, as he claims, or, as she claims, he is a “sociopathic narcissist.”

In recent developments, ex-KYW star Alycia Lane, 38, denies deposition claims by her married former colleague, Larry Mendte, that the two had a number of make-out sessions while both were still employed by CBS Broadcasting, including one in which Lane allegedly came out of her room wearing her bra but not her shirt after he drove her home, reports the New York Post.

Mendte also was fired by the network and pleaded guilty in a criminal case in which he was accused of illegally gaining entry to Lane’s computer and leaking confidential material he obtained there.

The defamation case is expected to go to trial in Philadelphia next month.
