Less than two months after entering Michigan and establishing a suburban Detroit office by merging with a 17-lawyer intellectual property boutique, Dinsmore & Shohl is growing again.

The 600-attorney firm has now opened a six-attorney office in Philadelphia, plucking partners from competitors’ offices, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The attorney roster for the new office includes a partner and special counsel from Pepper Hamilton who specialize in banking and financial services and a three-lawyer group of litigators from Gallagher & Rowan comprised of a partner, a counsel and an associate.

A news release provides more details.

A preexisting Dinsmore office in Wayne, on the outskirts of Philadelphia, will continue to operate. The firm has its largest office in Cincinnati, and also has offices in Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
