Family Court Fight Expands to Include New Parties: Bedbugs
It was bad enough just dealing with her cousin’s divorce, Brianna Duggan tells the New York Daily News.
But then, during a hearing last month in Bronx County Family Court, some new parties hitched a ride into the litigation battle: bedbugs, reports the New York Daily News. In addition to the Bronx courthouse, which has since been exterminated, the pests have found their way into the district attorney’s offices in the Bronx and Brooklyn.
“It’s disgusting that they let people inside the courthouse while bedbugs were crawling all around,” Duggan told the newspaper, saying that she brought some home with her and had to exterminate there after accompanying a cousin to a custody hearing.
