DLA Piper is laying off up to 200 support staffers in the United Kingdom and is moving most of the positions to a Warsaw back-office operations center.

The layoffs will be concentrated in the firm’s finance, human resources, technology, marketing and secretarial ranks, the Am Law Daily (sub. req.) reports. The law firm says the streamlining was needed as a result of rapid growth in the last few years.

A firm spokesman told the Am Law Daily that U.S. offices won’t be included in the restructuring.
