We hear a lot these days about the dangers of texting and driving. But apparently Dandre Moore may not have gotten the memo.

After he was pulled over Tuesday for “double-texting” in the George Wallace Tunnel in Alabama, Mobile County sheriff’s officers said, the 19-year-old told them that he had been driving with his knees while texting with a phone in each hand since he was 15, the Press-Register reports.

Moore and a passenger, Dartavious Moore, both from Mississippi, face drug charges after multiple agencies, including the Alabama state police, searched the car with permission and found oxycodone, Xanax and marijuana, according to a press release from the sheriff’s department. Attached photos show that the oxycodone pills were in a prescription bottle issued in Dandre Moore’s name.

There’s no word on whether Moore faces any charges concerning his alleged double-texting. A Pittsburgh Tribune-Review notes that, at least in Pennsylvania, even an ordinary texting-while-driving case is difficult to prove.
