DUI firm will accept payments via Apple Pay

A DUI defense firm in Michigan has announced it will accept Apple Pay from its clients with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
The Barone Defense Firm in Birmingham, Michigan, paid $500 for the hardware that will allow customers to make onsite payments with Apple Pay, GRBJ.com reports.
Law firm founder Patrick Barone noted two benefits of Apple Pay in an interview with GRBJ.com. Apple Pay is a “really great, easy method to pay,” he said. And being on the cutting edge of technology (the firm relies on digital rather than paper files) helps attract new talent to the firm.
Barone said the majority of the firm’s clients pay on credit, “and we wanted to make it as convenient for them as possible and also convenient for us, too.” He warns in a blog post that some banks and some credit cards don’t allow payments through Apple Pay. The firm still accepts credit cards from those who can’t use the service.
Barone told GRBJ.com he was interested in Apple Pay’s high-security features. “I want to make sure that we keep all of our clients’ data secure,” he said.
