Updated: Four Chicago election judges were arrested today, including two who were allegedly drunk, one who was accused of yanking a provisional ballot out of a voter’s hands and another claimed to have groped a female election judge, reports Fox News.

A Chicago Sun-Times article provides more details about the ballot incident, which also reportedly involved shoving.

Meanwhile, a Michigan prosecutor has apologized for leaving a profane voice mail message for a candidate seeking election to the Macomb County Commission, reports the Detroit Free Press.

The brother of Macomb County Prosecuting Attorney Eric Smith is also a candidate in the county commission race. For those who want to know exactly what Smith allegedly said, the article includes a link to an audio of the claimed message that was provided to the newspaper by the Macomb County Republican Party.

It has asked the state attorney general to pursue a potential criminal case and the state Attorney Grievance Commission to pursue a potential legal ethics case, the newspaper reports.
