Eversheds is fighting competition from contract lawyer services by creating its own.

The U.K. law firm is trying out a new contract lawyer business for a one-year stint, and it’s touting the new service to clients, Legal Week reports. The lawyers will work at clients’ offices or remotely, depending on the need, according to Eversheds’ website.

Eversheds hopes to hire 10 to 15 contract lawyers in the new business, called Eversheds Agile, Legal Week says. The service, part of Eversheds Consulting, will also provide temporary professionals in other areas, such as project management and human resources.
