Forced to resign from office as New York governor last year after he became embroiled in a prostitution scandal, former state attorney general Eliot Spitzer has lined up a new side gig.
He is teaching a once-a-week law and policy course as an adjunct political science professor at City College of New York, reports the Albany Watch blog of the Journal News.
“We’re delighted that Eliot Spitzer has become an adjunct member of our facility,” says Ellis Simon, a spokesman for the Manhattan college. “His experience as attorney general and as governor of the state of New York gives him a unique and powerful perspective that can only benefit our students.”
As discussed in earlier ABAJournal.com posts, Spitzer reportedly planned to work with family real estate-related ventures since leaving office.

Seems like pretty poor judgment.

Spitzer is a DEMOCRAT. He’s a democrat. The media always forgets to add that descriptor… at least during democrat scandals.

When Spitzer left under a cloud
He pulled up his socks and avowed
To teach at a college
Yet we all acknowledge
That his post was never endowed.
