A former corporate partner at Latham & Watkins in New York pleaded guilty in federal court on Friday to stealing $200,000 from his firm and clients by filing false expense reports.

Samuel A. Fishman admitted that between 2002 and 2005 he illegally charged personal expenses as business expenses, Reuters reports.

“I’m very sorry for what I did,” Fishman reportedly told U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero in Manhattan. He pleaded guilty to one count of mail fraud.

Fishman, who once chaired Latham’s M&A group, was accused of charging personal meals and parking fees as business expenses such as photocopying and express mail. Latham & Watkins discovered the misconduct in 2005, confronted Fishman and notified authorities. Fishman resigned at that time.

His sentencing is slated for June 27.
