The Federalist Society has launched a new website that is intended to serve as a one-stop destination for news, documents and “commentary from across the legal, political and philosophical spectrum” concerning U.S. Supreme Court nominations.

It is also intended to educate and promote public debate about the role of the nation’s courts in a constitutional democracy, explains the new SCOTUSreport.com site.

A Tweet indicates that the Federalist Society is promoting the new venture to the Tea Party movement.
