A Pennsylvania law firm is offering area teens a chance to win a free limo ride if they sign a drug- and alcohol-free prom pledge.

Kingston law firm Fellerman & Ciarimboli has set up a Safe Prom Pledge on its website, asking students from Luzerne and Lackawanna counties to commit to a safe night, the Citizens’ Voice reports.

The site also warns about the dangers of drinking and driving and refers to related state law.

Name partner Greg Fellerman tells the publication that the firm was motivated to start the contest because of the number of drunken-driving accidents during prom season.

“We know this time of year is extremely dangerous,” he said. “We feel it’s important to get our message out to the kids to use better judgment.”

Students who sign the pledge are entered into a drawing for an all-expenses-paid six-passenger limo. A winner will be announced May 1.
