National labor and employment boutique Ford & Harrison is growing again.

The 155-attorney Atlanta-based firm announced Tuesday that it had acquired a five-lawyer firm, Rose Kallor. The merger establishes a new Hartford office for Ford & Harrison, its first in Connecticut.

This is not the first merger this year for Ford & Harrison, which is ready to expand again when the time and circumstances are right, reports the Am Law Daily (sub. req.).

“We are always looking for opportunities to grow into new locations,” Todd Aidman told the legal publication. He co-chairs the firm’s restaurant practice group from his Tampa, Florida, office.

“Much of our growth has come from taking over well-established boutiques that are like us, just a smaller size,” Aidman added.

In January, the firm acquired Waldman Law, a small firm with offices in New York and Palo Alto, California, as the Am Law Daily (sub. req.) reported at the time.

Although the firm has dozens of offices in the North, South and Midwest, its only offices west of Minneapolis are in California and Texas.
