Another lawyer from dissolving WolfBlock is joining Cozen O'Connor.

This time it's former WolfBlock chairman Mark Alderman who's making the move, his new firm reports in a press release (PDF). He will be a member of Cozen's government relations practice, splitting his time between the firm's offices in Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C.

“I look forward to turning my attention from administrative management to full time government relations, which is my true passion,” says Alderman in the release. “I spoke to a number of firms after the vote to dissolve Wolf Block, but I have always been impressed by Cozen’s entrepreneurial spirit and its aggressive growth rate for such a young firm.”

what a pig.  too bad alderman not held to the same duties of loyalty and standards of care that govern corporate leaders.  this story smells of self-dealing, bad faith, the whole nine yards.  elected to lead the firm, smells trouble, arranges new job for himself and other top brass, then leads the charge to dissolve the firm citing imminent defections.  at least he held the line on his our name comes first or bust merger position.
