A restaurant owner and his detractors are citing some modified legal concepts in a fight over the high-fat food served there.

The Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas is back in the news after a customer eating its Triple Bypass Burger suffered an apparent heart attack on Saturday, Fox News reports. Servers dress as doctors and nurses, and some in the restaurant thought the incident was a joke.

The incident spurred the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to send owner Jon Basso a letter asking him to declare “moral bankruptcy” and close the restaurant.

Basso defended his restaurant in an appearance in Fox and Friends on Friday. He said the eatery represents values and freedoms that the nation’s founding fathers believed in.
