Fortune has put four law firms on its annual list of the top 100 places to work, citing their high pay, good perks and nurturing environments.

Law firms on the list are:

Alston & Bird at No. 24. According to Fortune, support staff at law firms are often ignored, but at Alston they join task forces with lawyers and meet regularly to discuss operations. The firm was also third on a list of top-paying companies, with pay averaging $201,233 for associates. It also made an unusual-perks list for offering subsidized Spanish classes.

Bingham McCutchen at No. 30. Fortune cites this employee comment: “Prima donnas and malicious jerks are practically unknown here.” The firm was second on a list of 25 top-paying companies, with pay averaging $228,851 for associates.

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz at No. 54. According to Fortune, “employees rave about the caring atmosphere at this Southern law firm.” The firm also made Fortune’s “no layoffs gallery” and was 24th on a list of best-paying companies.

Perkins Coie at No. 58. The law firm has “happiness committees” that throw frequent parties, Fortune says. It was listed fourth on a list of top-paying companies, with pay averaging $189,409 for associates. It also made a top 10 list for having the most telecommuters; 45 percent are deemed “regular telecommuters.”

The same four law firms also made last year’s list.
