An old courthouse and prison in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, may be featured in the Ghost Hunters reality TV show as a result of a vote by Cumberland County commissioners.

Commissioners approved filming on Monday, report Pennlive.com, Cumberlink.com and WGAL. The courthouse is now used as an administration building, while the prison houses some law enforcement offices, the stories say.

Workers have reported mysterious occurrences at both places, according to WGAL and previous reports by Pennlive.com and Cumberlink.com. Workers at the old courthouse say they heard unexplained toilet flushes, saw strange shadows and heard creaky sounds, WGAL says.

Meanwhile, one anonymous worker told of a scary experience while alone at the old courthouse seven years ago. The worker told Pennlive.com she was working at about 5 a.m. when all of a sudden she heard doors opening and slamming. She ran across the street to find a security guard, and when they returned, no one was there.

Heating and air-conditioning technician Marlin Hamilton says he now believes in ghosts after hearing talking and footsteps in the jail when no one was around. He also recalls one instance when he saw boots and a pair of pants approaching—but nothing above the knees of the apparent apparition. He will be staying all night with the Ghost Hunters crew if the filming takes place.
