Updated: In addition to his other political skills, presidential candidate Barack Obama can also put the bite on vampires.

At least that's the premise of Barackula, a new Internet-only musical now playing on Barackula.com. YouTube also has a selection of Barackula clips.

First-time director Mike Lawson's political horror film pits an actor playing Obama—who in real life was the president of the Harvard Law Review—against a fictional group of dancing law students who happen to be vampires with opposing political views, the Chicago Tribune reported earlier this month.

Updated 12:24 p.m. Feb. 22 to include links to the full-length Barackula video and YouTube clips.

I see there are no comments.  I beleive that’s because most who read this are rendered speechless; both at it’s content and the fact that this is “news.”

So, should I start submitting stories about my local high school’s moot court competitions?  This is not newsworthy.

“Its content,” not “it’s content.”  Get it right!

Good for you, #1 and #2, that you are in such non-stressful positions that you have no need for a moment of levity in your day…

#1 and #2 are good examples of why people think lawyers take themselves all too seriously.  It may not be “newsworthy,” but it’s [it is] certainly noteworthy and therefore rightfully here.

#3 you missed #1’s misspelled “believe”.  The i before e rule comes pretty early in English class.

So, I’m not sure about the usage of the em dash to denote someone’s presidency of the Harvard Law Review.  Is the story trying to say that the actor playing Obama was president of the Harvard Law Review, or simply reminding us that Obama was.

You guys are such losers.  Go watch the political debates, read a newspaper and lighten the fuck up instead of correcting misspelled words in comments.  No wonder people say current associates suck ass
