Move over, U.S. News and World Report. A new law school ranking is not based on a survey of reputation, accreditation criteria or factors such as selectivity and quality of life.

This ranking, published on the TaxProf blog, is compiled based on an Oct. 30 Google search for the word “law school.” The top five were Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Michigan and Columbia.

TaxProf blog is published by Paul Caron, associate dean of faculty for the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
