Helping Corp Sell Stock in Electricity Device Made From Used Swing Set Put Ex-GC on SEC Hot Seat
The former general counsel of a Florida energy company has had his privileges to practice before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission suspended after he reportedly helped his company sell unregistered stock in an untested device that “harvested wind” to create electricity.
It had been made from a swing set purchased used on eBay, Corporate Counsel reports.
Daniel Nodurft, 56, is licensed in Louisiana and now works as a personal injury attorney for the Robichaux Law Firm in New Orleans. He was general counsel for Aerokinetic Energy Corporation from 2005 to 2008, when he agreed with the Florida Bar that he would not serve as general counsel for any company in the state.
