High Schooler Faces Disorderly Conduct Charge re Sex-Appeal Ranking of 50 Classmates Posted Online
An unidentified former student at a suburban Chicago high school has been charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly posting online and distributing at Oak Park-River Forest High School earlier this year a list ranking some 50 female classmates based on their physical appearance and claimed sexual activity.
After being arrested yesterday, the youth was turned over to his legal guardian, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. He was expelled earlier and now attends an alternative high school in Chicago.
The father of one girl said he was pleased about the arrest but hopes that once authorities gather more evidence, additional charges would be filed because it was a “very serious offense that affected many people.” The newspaper article doesn’t suggest what additional charges, if any, might be appropriate.
The article also doesn’t include any comment from the arrested ex-student or his representative.
