Marc Dann has resigned as Ohio’s attorney general, but that is by no means the end of the official investigation of the alleged fraternity house atmosphere in his office that drove Dann to resign from his job earlier this week.

The Associated Press says at least six investigations are ongoing by various state and federal agencies. They reportedly focus on the use of state vehicles by Dann’s former services chief; management and operating procedures in Dann’s office; possible employment discrimination within his office; unknown FBI concerns; and unknown ethics issues. A routine financial audit is also part of the picture.

The Politics Blog of the Cleveland Plain Dealer says the investigation is even bigger: “Inspector General Tom Charles, whose investigators raided the attorney general’s Columbus and Youngstown offices Wednesday just hours before Dann resigned, has invited nearly a dozen local and state agencies to join his inquiry,” it states.

Charles, who works for the state, declines to comment about the focus of his investigation.
