Ice Miller to Gain Another 90 Attorneys By Merging With Schottenstein Zox
The third-biggest law firm in Indianapolis will soon be among the 150 largest in the country, after a planned merger with the fourth-biggest in Columbus, Ohio.
Ice Miller, with 224 lawyers, plans to combine forces on Jan. 1 with 90-attorney Schottenstein Zox & Dunn, according to the Indianapolis Business Review and the Indianapolis Star.

Earlier this month, the number-two firm in Indianapolis, Baker & Daniels, confirmed that it is discussing a potential merger with Minneapolis-based Faegre & Benson. Together, the two would have around 800 lawyers.
