A Seattle-area judge was admonished today for a lewd exchange with a defendant in his courtroom and for making demeaning references to the ethnicity of others.

Specifically, King County District Court Judge Mark Chow responded to a defendant to threw out a “sexual demand,” according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Chow reportedly responded, “I would if you pulled it out, but you can’t find it.”

Chow also reportedly asked Mental Health Court defendants to tell him what “flavor” they were, in reference to their ethnicity.

The paper reports that Chow acknowledged he violated ethics code, accepted a reassignment and will take ethics training.
