Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has dissented six times so far this term, making her the most frequent dissenter.

Justice Antonin Scalia, on the other hand, is the term’s most frequent lone dissenter, writing two dissents that were not joined by any other justices, SCOTUSblog reports. Writing one lone dissent each were Justices Ginsburg, Clarence Thomas, Stephen G. Breyer and Samuel A. Alito Jr.

According to statistics (PDF) from the blog’s “Stat Pack,” Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justice Anthony M. Kennedy were most often in the majority, joining the majority in 94 percent of divided cases.

Ginsburg was least often in the majority in divided cases, joining the majority in only 59 percent of the cases, followed by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, in 65 percent, and Justice Elena Kagan, in 67 percent.
