Justice Clarence Thomas told friends at a Washington, D.C., party in his honor last night that his first book will also be his last.

“You can have this business,” he told columnist Cal Thomas. “I’ll be glad when it’s over.”

Justices from both sides of the ideological divide also attended the party, the Washington Post reports. They were Ruth Bader Ginsburg, David H. Souter, Antonin Scalia and Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.

Thomas’ memoir, My Grandfather’s Son, takes aim at liberals and Anita Hill for her claims of sexual harassment, aired during his confirmation hearings.

But at the party, Thomas focused on another of life’s great injustices: Bob Hayes’ absence from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
