Teen pop singer Justin Bieber has settled another case, this one reportedly involving a luxury-car drag race. The singer agreed to pay $50,000, take 12 hours of private anger management instruction and watch videos about the danger of driving under the influence.

His co-defendant in the South Florida case, R&B singer Khalil Sharieff, is expected to take a similar deal, reports the Miami Herald.

Although the article is based on information from unidentified sources, the Associated Press has since confirmed the deal concerning Bieber, which was detailed in a Wednesday court hearing.

In exchange for not being convicted on the DUI charge, Bieber pleaded guilty to 12 misdemeanor counts of careless driving and resisting arrest in the Miami Beach case, the AP reports.

The articles don’t include any comment from counsel for the 20-year-old Bieber.
