A well-known celebrity jeweler has sued grunge-punk rocker Courtney Love, contending that she failed to return some of the diamond-studded baubles she borrowed in September, according to the New York Daily News and the Associated Press.

Love allegedly indicated that she had lost the items she didn’t return along with a diamond bracelet, but an agreement called for Love to be held responsible for the jewelery “regardless of loss or damage,” says attorney Jeffrey Klarsfeld. He represents New York-based Jacob & Co. Its founder, Jacob Arabo, is known as the “King of Bling” in hip-hop circles.

The suit, which was filed yesterday in state supreme court in Manhattan, seeks $113,700 in damages.
