Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel today announced that it is opening a Silicon Valley office with two partners from King & Spalding.

Paul J. Andre and Lisa Kobialka focus their practice on high-tech and life sciences litigation. The new office they will establish is the New York City-based firm’s third geographic location; Kramer Levin also has an office in Paris and around 300 lawyers on its attorney roster.

“Along with our clients, we view IP as a tremendous growth area and believe the time is right for Kramer Levin to have an office in Silicon Valley,” said managing partner Paul S. Pearlman in the firm’s announcement today, which notes that the office is expected to grow.

“The addition of these well-known and respected IP litigation attorneys will further augment our representation of clients in the technology and life sciences industries, two areas in which we are particularly strong,” said Pearlman of the new Silicon Valley partners.
