Changes afoot at Law.com include a redesigned and reorganized website and a new contributor network of 100 to 500 writers.

But Law.com’s Blog Network will be shutting down later this year, according to Robert Ambrogi’s LawSites, which became part of the network soon after its 2004 launch.

Law.com editor Nathalie Gorman told LawSites that the Blog Network will be winding down “in its current form by end of Q3 2014. However, we value the relationships we have with the members of the Blog Network tremendously, and we will be reaching out to them individually to see how we can continue to work together.”

Current blogs in the network include How Appealing, the Careerist and The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times. One of the original network members, the Volokh Conspiracy, now appears on the Washington Post website.

Robert Ambrogi’s LawSites covered other changes at Law.com here and here.
