An intellectual property law firm is building new offices in Omaha that will be designed with high-tech safeguards to keep client information secret.

Construction is beginning on the new building for the Advent law firm, the Omaha World-Herald reports. The estimated cost is $12 million and the projected move-in date is January 2016.

Advent will install biometric security that scans eyes or fingertips before allowing access to certain areas, the World-Herald says. The law firm is also exploring the installation of privacy glass that will fog up when a meeting needs to be kept confidential.

Other anti-theft measures can’t be revealed, according to the World-Herald.

Advent will occupy about 15 percent of the building and plans to lease out the rest of the space.
