Oh what fun it is to share rambling voicemails from rejected salesmen with the digital universe!

In a move that might boost its Web visibility after all, the Kansas City, Mo., law firm McCollum & Griggs posted a slurred audio clip that they say was from the miffed supervisor (or owner) of a search engine optimization and Internet marketing company after the lawyers declined to purchase a domain name from his company, the New York Personal Injury Law Blog reported in a recent post.

In the humorous minute-long clip, the caller chastised the firm for messing with his “boys” when it declined the $10,000 opportunity to buy a domain name that he said would make the firm “number one on Google forever.”

Sounds like an incredible promise, but after listening to the call, some may share New York lawyer Eric Turkewitz’s concern for lawyers who may indeed be “outsourcing their ethics and marketing to this guy.”
