A 30-page paper published online Sunday by a law professor at the University of North Carolina contains a lot of data and analysis.

But the results can be boiled down to a Top 10 list of “most underrated” law schools, with Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at the top of the list, reports Bloomberg.

The Social Science Research Network provides an abstract and a link to the article by Professor Alfred Brophy of the University of North Carolina School of Law. It relies on Law School Admission Test scores, law review citations and graduates’ employment outcomes in reaching its conclusions.

“What this ranking does is reveal how careful students need to be, especially in looking at employment outcomes,” Brophy says. “The job market is so incredibly competitive coming out of law school, you want to make sure you are going to the best school and getting the best value for your money.”

The other four school in the top five are Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law; University of Montana School of Law; Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law; and University of South Dakota School of Law. The full list is available here.
