Law school consumer information is now available in a spreadsheet format for comparative purposes, the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar announced Monday.

The data, compiled from the annual information reports law schools are required to file with the section, will make searching, sorting, school-by-school comparisons and analysis easier, the section said in a press release.

The information is presented in 11 categories, including admissions, tuition and living costs, grants and scholarships, class and faculty demographics, employment outcomes, bar passage rates and other areas.

Until now, the section only posted school-by-school spreadsheets on the employment outcome data.

With the exception of conditional scholarships and transfers-in from other schools, which the section only began collecting information about last year, the posted data covers the years 2011 through 2014. Additional years’ data will be made available as time and staffing permits, the section says.

The spreadsheets, along with each school’s information report and a guide to the data is available here.
