A Texas lawyer once jailed for making an obscene gesture in court is back in the news after appearing to take credit for posting “exclusively for white people” stickers on the windows of businesses in east Austin.

In two YouTube videos laced with F-bombs, lawyer Adam Reposa appears shirtless while talking about gentrification and “white hipsters.” The Austin-American Statesman, Raw Story, KXAN and the Austin Chronicle have stories.

“Why I did it is pretty obvious,” Reposa says in one of the videos. “Because it would be obvious that even though people know the real problem—and the real problem is that people without money are getting f—–. They’re getting pushed out, and pretty quick. This area of town is turning into whites only.”

The stickers read “exclusively for white people” and “maximum of 5 colored customers / colored BOH staff accepted.” BOH refers to back of house.

The Statesman and the Chronicle contacted Reposa for comment, but did not get an immediate response.
