A Utah lawyer arrested at the Salt Lake City International Airport on Thursday for carrying a handgun in his briefcase is blaming a rushed morning and forgetfulness.

The lawyer, Craig Swapp, is known for his slogan, “One call, that’s all,” the Deseret News reports. Swapp tells the newspaper he has a concealed carry permit and usually stores the weapon in a safe when he travels.

On Thursday, he said, he was in “a bit of a rush” and forgot the unloaded gun was in his briefcase. “I travel frequently, but for some reason that just spaced my mind,” he told the Deseret News. “So, when they found it in security it surprised me probably as much as it did them.”
