A federal indictment accuses a West Virginia lawyer of advising a couple to transfer their mobile home to their daughter before filing for bankruptcy.
Lawyer Patrick B. Anderson of Winfield faces charges of bankruptcy fraud, and fraudulent transfer and concealment of assets, according to stories in the Charleston Gazette, WSAZ News Channel 3, and WCHS Radio 58.
The indictment claims Anderson prepared the new deed and then helped the couple file for bankruptcy.
